It was a long time ago, maybe 1977 or '78, definitely pre-children for Jim and me as well as Mike and Susan. The Elrods were gathering at the lakehouse, so Mike, Susan, Jim and I drove from Austin to join them. I think it was our first trip to the lakehouse. Dale was to be there as well. We had a fabulous weekend, eating, swimming, porch-sitting and playing games. Then it came time to go. Becky and Warren were on the hill side, waving happily, while unbeknownst to them, Dale was on the porch behind them, MOONING us as we drove away. We laughed so hard and have continued to laugh over that fine tomfoolery. Only Dale had the chutzpah to pull it off!! We will miss him so very much. Love from Barbee and JIm
