A 'PS' on Hansen's story about Dale's 27th

Hansen tells the story of Dale's 27th croquet game well. But a little background will hopefully add a smile. Hansen was sitting in a small yardseat at the edge of the croquet playing area in our backyard in Taylor. Dale and David were sure he was safe there, even with the Extreme Croquet-style of the game. But Susan told them that he was too exposed and might get hit by a shot. Of course, Dale nor David were experienced parents (Susan and I by then had all of 4 months of parenthood under our belts!). Susan stepped in front of the Hansen's seat, just in time to stop a mis-hit ball from smacking Hansen! Dale and David's jaws dropped. From then on, they took turns holding Hansen while the other was hitting the ball. And thus the two shots of them each holding baby Hansen! Love you, Dale, and we'll miss you terribly. The games will continue to help remember and honor you! Mike
