I was looking through my baby book to find pictures of Dale, and I came across a page that was labeled "Dale's 27th." My mom, Susan, told me the story behind this page: For Dale's 27th birthday, Mike, Susan, Dale, and David Hamill were playing croquet at our house in Taylor, Texas. In the picture you can see that Dale and David were holding me at different points during the game, while the others took their turns hitting the ball. In the pictures Dale and David are looking down, watching other people's croquet shots. I was too young to remember that day, but that must have been a fun time.
